electric-mote provides guided architectural tours across Canada. Our services include group walking tours, private tours, and custom tour experiences focused on architectural landmarks, history, and design.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

Bookings are made through our website contact form or by email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us.

3.2 Payment Terms

Full payment is required 48 hours before the scheduled tour date. We accept major credit cards and electronic transfers. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Pricing

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, price changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the tour: Full refund
• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the tour: Tour credit valid for 12 months
• No-shows: No refund or credit

4.2 Cancellation by electric-mote

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to severe weather, insufficient participants, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or free rebooking to an alternative date.

4.3 Weather Policy

Tours proceed in light rain. In cases of severe weather that poses safety risks, we will cancel and offer full refunds or rebooking options.

5. Tour Participation

5.1 Physical Requirements

Our tours involve walking on various terrains including stairs, uneven surfaces, and cobblestones. Participants should have reasonable mobility to complete the tour route. Please inform us of any accessibility requirements when booking.

5.2 Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, other participants, and properties visited. We reserve the right to remove participants whose behavior is disruptive, without refund.

5.3 Photography

Photography for personal use is permitted on most tours. Some interior locations may have restrictions. Your guide will advise of any photography limitations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and tour materials, is the property of electric-mote or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
